Browser Pick: Cast JavaScript “spells” in CodeCombat

Lena LeRray wrote a blog post on IndieGames.com about CodeCombat, a game that teaches people web development skills such as coding. Codes, the numerics that tell a computer to perform certain functions, are embedded into everything that makes the video game work- from jumping to hovering over an item to adding skills to your mental coding toolbox. The Skritter application, in which participants learn to write kanji, was the inspiration for the CodeCombat game. Browser Pick: Cast JavaScript “spells” in CodeCombat
