Press Release: GlassLab Publishes Research on Game-based Assessment

The white paper, Psychometric Considerations in Game-Based Assessment, was written to teach scientists, learning designers, and game developers how to take decisions kids make in games and then turn those decisions into increased learning for the student. The scientists measure key strokes and the decisions students make while playing games. Learning designers and game developers determine how to incorporate increasing skill-levels into a game as students master one section or skill-level of a game. GlassLab’s first game-based assessment product, SimCityEDU: Pollution Challenge! is cited as a framework example of game-based assessments.
